HELP FOR HAITI !!!
We have all been impacted by the images of the devastation caused by the earthquake in Haiti, and the Saint Andrew Student Council would like to help! Many families have made contributions to the Haitian relief fund at Sunday Mass, but the Student Council aims to create a plan where the students are be able to do their part to contribute to the relief.
Here’s how it will work:
· Students are asked to seek out opportunities to help out in their families and in the community (think: taking on extra chores, shoveling snow, carrying groceries for the neighbor, etc. BE CREATIVE!)
· Students will accept payments for their services, but rather than keeping the money, they will donate the money earned to the relief fund.
· The fundraiser will run from February 1st – Feb. 28th. Please return all money to be donated to Ms. Malinski in room 3D by March 1st.
We are hoping that all students will choose to participate in this fundraiser. The Student Council believes that we must join in the relief efforts in any way we can. This plan allows students a chance to directly assist in Haitian relief. All of the proceeds will be donated to the American Red Cross.
Thanks for your participation in and support of this fundraiser. We are looking forward to helping the Haitians in any way we can! Ready, Set, START YOUR SERVICE!!
