Saint Andrew School BoardSchool Board Links: Board Members | Goals | Meeting Minutes | OCS Genesis Plan The Saint Andrew School Board consists of school parents who are very committed and resourceful people. They meet once a month, working to align Saint Andrew School practices with the mission and goals of the Genesis Plan. The Genesis Plan is the Archdiocesan Strategic Plan for Catholic Schools. The school board also works to increase parent involvement in the school and in marketing the school to the community. If you are interested in a position on the board for the 2009-2010 school year please CLICK HERE to download a pdf candidate form. 2009-2010 School Board Members Susan Boin, Aimee Brown, Joe Burke, Mike Hudson, Bruce Japsen, Kelly M. Johnson, Helen Lines, Tricia Luzadder, Patrick Nash, Eileen Neville, Allison Radecki, Michael Spingola Susan Boin, a financial executive and mother of four children attending Saint Andrew, is in the second year of a second three-year term on the board. Boin, currently raising her children, worked in the financial industry for 13 years, managing business interests held in personal trust accounts at Northern Trust and Bank One. She has an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management with concentrations in finance and management strategy. She is married to Tom Boin, a Saint Andrew Facilities Committee and Parish Pastoral Council member. They have children in fifth and sixth grades, and twins in second grade. Her term expires in June of 2011. Aimee Brown, an educator and mother of four children attending Saint Andrew, is in the first year of a second three-year term on the board. Brown, currently raising her three school-age boys, daughter and infant son, has taught secondary education at DuSable, Hancock and Harper schools. She is a graduate of DePaul University. Her husband Donny is executive director emeritus of Biddy Basketball. Their children are in third grade, second grade, junior Kindergarten and Transitions. She chairs the social committee, formerly Parents Club, of the board. Her term expires in June of 2012. Joe Burke, an insurance executive and father of three children attending Saint Andrew, is in the second year of a three-year term on the board. A Chicago native and product of Chicago Catholic Schools. He is married to Andrea, a Saint Andrew volunteer and former Catholic school psychologist and teacher. Their children are in third grade, Kindergarten and Transitions. His term expires in June of 2011. Mike Hudson, a sales executive in the investment banking industry and father of three including two children attending Saint Andrew, is in the second year of a three-year term on the board. Hudson works in equity portfolio sales at Morgan Stanley. He graduated from University of Notre Dame. He is married to Colette, a Saint Andrew volunteer and room parent for four years. They have children in First Grade and preschool. His term expires in June of 2011. Bruce Japsen, a journalist who has a daughter attending Saint Andrew, is in the first year of a second three-year term on the board. Japsen is the health care reporter for the Chicago Tribune. He is a graduate of the University of Iowa where he sits on the journalism school's advisory board. He is an adjunct instructor of reporting and writing at Loyola University Chicago and the University of Chicago. He is married to Anne Zuccaro Japsen, a member of the Parish Pastoral Council. Their daughter is in third grade. His term expires in June of 2012. Kelly Johnson, a homemaker and mother of two children at Saint Andrew, is in the third year of a three-year term on the board. Before having children, she was a pharmaceutical sales representative for 8 years. She is married to John. Their children are in fifth grade and Kindergarten. Johnson is on the marketing committee and organizes and gives school tours. Her term expires in June of 2010. Helen Lines, a banking executive, is the mother of two children at Saint Andrew and a 2006 graduate currently attending Gordon Tech High School. She is in the third year of her 2nd three-year term on the board. She is married to Ed, a longtime volunteer at Saint Andrew. Her term expires in June of 2010. Tricia Luzadder, an investment sales executive and mother of three, including a son attending Saint Andrew is in the second year of a three-year term on the board. Currently raising her children, Luzadder is a former vice president at Goldman Sachs International in fixed income derivative sales. A graduate of Georgetown University, she also serves on the board of the National Association for Down Syndrome. She is married to Monte a longtime Saint Andrew volunteer. They have a son in sixth grade at Saint Andrew. Her term expires in June of 2011. Patrick Nash, an attorney and father of two children at Saint Andrew, is in the second year of a three-year term on the board. Nash is a partner at Skadden, Arps, Meagher & Flom. A Chicago native and product of Chicago Catholic schools, he is a graduate of the University of Illinois School of Law and the University of Notre Dame. He is married to Alyson. Their children are in third grade and Kindergarten. His term expires in June of 2010. Eileen Neville, a cycling and triathlon coach and mother of two children attending Saint Andrew, is in the first year of a three year term on the board. Currently coaching cycling and triathlon athletes part-time, she previously worked in hospital product sales. A New Jersey native, she is a graduate of Rutgers University. She serves on health and safety committee of the board and is organizing the school's first 5K run for families on Oct. 4. She is married to Andrew. Their children are in third and first grades. Her term expires in June of 2012. Allison Radecki, a technology executive and mother of three including two children at Saint Andrew, is in the first year of a three-year term on the board. She is senior vice president and chief information officer at GS1 US where she is responsible for leading the technology strategy and operations for this not-for-profit organization. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is married to Steve. They have a daughter in first grade and a daughter in preschool. Her term expires in June 2012. Michael Spingola, owns a software company, and is father of three children at Saint Andrew as well as Saint Andrew graduates from the classes of 2005 and 2008. He is in his third year of a second three-year term on the board. He is a graduate of Illinois State University. He is married to Jill. Their children are in 8th, 6th and Kindergarten.
