Growing Our Ministries
The primary purpose of the development committee is to afford an opportunity for the Parish to grow its ministries to better meet the pressing needs of current and prospective parishioners as well as our neighbors in the Lakeview Community. This includes exploring potential improvements to the Saint Andrew campus, especially as envisioned in the Parish's Master Plan.

Maintaining Our Ministries
The secondary purpose of the development committee is to help maintain the parish’s current ministries. These ministries include weekend and daily masses, sacramental masses (baptisms, weddings, funerals) the pre-kindergarten and grade school Catholic education and Religious Education (link to ministries). The development committee works to supplement the parishioners’ Sunday offerings, participant fees and student tuition collected which cover most of the cost of these ministries.Development activities that support these objectives are the Golf Outing, Wearin’ the Green, Friendraisers and Corporate Incentive Programs.

Supporting Special Causes
The tertiary purpose of development committee is to ensure fundraising for special causes is coordinated with other fundraising. To that end, if you have a fund raising idea please contact Janet Cobb at (773) 525-3016 or at janetcobb@saintandrewchicago.com. Special causes in the past have included Fr. Matthias’ school in Uganda, Hurricane Katrina Victims, the Eighth Grade Class Trip and Teacher Appreciation Fund.
