Tuition Rates and a letter from the Pastor and Principal went home yesterday with oldest/only and by email today. Financial Assistance: Families who are in need of financial assistance must apply through FACTS. A $25 fee must accompany your application (checks should be made out to FACTS Grant and Aid). Applications are available from Mrs. Minnecci, or online at www.FACTStutionaid.com. The deadline for financial assistance applications to be received by FACTS is March 19th.
We have sent home the "Pink" re-registration materials for the 2010-2011 school year. These materials went home with the oldest and/or only student in grades JK-7th. If these materials did not make it home, please call the office. The deadline for the $250 Early Bird special is Monday, March 1, 2010. However, if you pay the early bird fee for one child by the deadline, that rate will apply to the rest of your child/ren at Contract Signing Days. If you do not take advantage of the early bird special the rate for your child/ren will be $400.00 per child. Current students K thru 7th grade only need to return the pink registration form with the registration fee, by the due date. Transitions, PreK and Kindergarten Registration - The Admissions Process for all Transitions classes, PreK and Kindergarten has begun (as stated in previous Parent Memos and school letters sent out in January). This process is separate from the pink registration form that went home in January for grade school student registration. Please send in your application/registration as soon as possible if you are intending to register your child for Transitions, PreK and/or Kindergarten for the 2010/2011 school year.

Terra Nova Testing will be held the Week of March 1-5. We are working to prepare our students in every way for this year's testing. Our campaign theme is "SLAMS" Dunk the Terra Nova! SLAMS is an acronym for; complete all the SENTENCES, use all of the LINES, ANSWER all of the questions, use correct MECHANICS and provide SUPPORTING details. We hope this campaign will reinforce the Terra Nova testing and prepare the students to do their best.

Golden Gloves Event - The Golden Gloves Event returns to Saint Andrew on March 11-13, 18-20, 25-27 and April 8-9. This is a great way to earn your volunteer hours. Interested volunteers should return the volunteer sheet to school. Children's Garage Sale - Start Saving items to donate for our 1st ever Children's Garage Sale. Cleaning out your closets or toy boxes? Save items to donate. All proceeds benefit the "Fill the Cup" project. The sale will take place on May 22, 2010 in the gym.
Market Day Order Forms are due this Thursday, internet orders are due by 11PM on Friday. Pick-up is next Tuesday, March 2nd form 3-4PM in the Social Hall.
If you didn't get a chance to preorder Girl Scout cookies, no worries. Just email your order to me, Kelly Prince at troop329@rcn.com, mention your girl scout friend's name and she will get credit for your order. We have thin mints, samoas, do-si-dos, tagalongs, trefoils, lemon, dulce de leche and our newest cookie Thank U Berry Munch (cranberry and white chocolate chips). They are $4.00/box and I will send your order thru the school office or you can pick them up.
Just a reminder that usually our students will continue to line up outside during the winter months unless it is extremely cold or there is precipitation. If you need to drop off your child before 7:30a.m., we recommend that you take advantage of our breakfast program. They will be out of the elements and will be supervised. Our goal is to provide orderly supervision.
Parents if your child becomes ill with an infectious illness such as "pink eye", strep throat or lice, you must contact the school office within 24 hours of the diagnosis to let us know. You must follow the doctor's guidelines as to how long you have to keep your child home. For lice infestation you must follow the instructions of the treatment that you choose to use an/or the doctor's guidelines. In the event of lice, the student's hair will be inspected by the school nurse prior to the student returning to class.
